Quix New Zealand is committed to implementing and achieving world best practice for the New Zealand plumbing, gasfitting and drainlaying industry. The Quix New Zealand Service Code has been developed for the benefit of all Quix New Zealand Members.

Members and Contractors agree to observe the following duties and requirements:

Information

Provide clients and customers with clear information about services offered, specifications and proposed work to be undertaken.

Pricing and Payment

Provide clients and customers with clear information of the price for the work proposed and the method of payment. This should involve providing clients and customers with a written estimate or quote where possible.

Timetable

Provide clients and customers with a clear timetable for any works.

Responsible

Work in a competent and responsible manner and be courteous at all times, respecting the privacy and property of clients and customers.

Observance

All Members and Contractors agree to observe the requirements of the Industry Code of Practice and the objectives, articles and ethics of Quix New Zealand.

Health and Safety

To have a high and particular regard for health and safety.

Comply

To comply with the law.

Members are responsible for the actions of the Member’s own staff, Contractors, advisers and agents.
